Athlete Profile: Tommy Sullivan

Tommy Sullivan was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he grew up playing a plethora of sports, including golf, football, track, and wrestling. But it wasn’t until age 15 that he found his true love: CrossFit. Tommy’s father got him into it and he has been inspired ever since. Tommy attended the University of Oklahoma and continued to work as a CrossFit coach while balancing school. Since graduating from Oklahoma, Tommy has decided to head back to college and is studying to become a therapist. He continues to work full-time as a Level 2 CrossFit Coach at KODA Fitness in Tulsa. Tommy truly enjoys coaching others and finds purpose in seeing others improve their own physical abilities.

Donor Story: In 2018, Tommy donating a portion of his liver to his sister Sydney at UW-Madison. Watch the video on their donation here. Sydney has joined Tommy in competing in the Donor Games over the years, including a 1st place finish in the 2023 1-Mile Swim.

Personal: Tommy lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma with his wife, two daughters, and newborn son. Much of his immediate family lives in the Tulsa-area, and Tommy feels very fortunate to see them so frequently.
