The Super Murph 2025 Open took place June 5–11, inspiring athletes to leave it all on the floor, testing muscular endurance, cardio capacity and grit. This competition showcased the health and fitness of living donors as well as the incredible athletic prowess of many transplant recipients. Check out the 2025 Season Leaderboard updated to include Super Murph points.
Donor: Men
Eric Walano submitted the first workout of the competition with a blistering time of 15:48. Super Murph record holder Garet Hil was not able to catch Eric and posted a time of 16:50, putting Garet in second place. Eric then improved his performance by nearly 40 seconds, posting a new time of 15:10, missing the event record by only 9 seconds. Thomas Sullivan nearly overtook Garet for second place but fell 4 seconds short, posting an amazing time of 16:54. Claus Krukenberg and Adam Cozzette rounded out the top five, both showing incredible determination by completing multiple workouts during the competition window.
Donor: Women
The competitive intensity in the women’s donor division was riveting, with the top three finishers submitting videos in the waning hours of the competition. Mimi Mahon’s first effort gave her an early lead, but Courtney Cox’s initial workout the next day vaulted her into first place. On the last day of competition, Mimi turned in a superb time of 17:58 to reclaim the lead, but Courtney was undeterred, turning in her own last-minute workout, edging out Mimi by 9 seconds, securing the win with a phenomenal 17:49 time and establishing a new event record. Roni Hays, the previous Super Murph record holder, added to the excitement with her own late submission of 19:42, not enough to overtake the lead but enough to secure the third-place finish.
Recipient: Men
Scott Claybrook set out to defend his 2023 Super Murph Open victory with a solid early time of 20:19. He held the lead for almost the entire contest but faced a late challenge from Codiee Lofquist, who was hungry to sweep the first three events of the 2025 Donor Games season. Lofquist completed his last workout faster than Claybrook’s lone attempt, but form infractions cost him the win, leaving him in second place by just 4 seconds with a time of 20:23. Andrés Falco continued his strong performance in 2025 Donor Games Open events, taking home third place.
Recipient: Women
First-year competitor Danielle Fiorito claimed her second consecutive Open win, establishing herself as a force to be reckoned with, posting an impressive time of 20:10. Abigail Beckman-Green, known for her heroics in the pool, posted a standout performance of 24:28 to take second place, with Merrill Walker rounding out the division’s top three.
General Divisions
Both general divisions continued to showcase world-class athletes, with victories going to Tony Lauters (ranked top 100 CrossFit athlete in the U.S.). Tony won the men’s general division with an amazing time of 13:59. Sam Briggs (2013 Fittest Woman in the World) won the women’s general division with a blazing time of 14:31, improving on her previous Super Murph time by nearly 30 seconds.
Congratulations to all the athletes for their impressive workouts!
